As a business one of our values is Responsibility and Contribution. Therefore we look to be as environmentally conscious as we can and we have set up initiatives to support this. 🍃
A lot of plastic waste is involved with running a Bubble Tea store which is why we reduced our plastic cup offering to just one size, incentivising our customers to bring in reusable bottles to receive a discount. Tempo has a wide range of Eco Friendly products from reusable straws to reusable drinkware. We also developed our own Jasmine Tea Soap Scrubs by upcycling our tea leaves.
Through the initiative of a member of the Tempo team, we launched a unique beach themed drink where we donated a portion of profits to the Marine Conservation Society and organised a beach clean-up to support this cause. 🏝
We have also recently launched our range of bamboo material clothing, t-shirts, long sleeved t-shirts, sweaters and hoodies, which were designed by our team! Bamboo is a sustainable material, it is much more durable & softer than cotton and has anti-bacterial properties so its great for an active life too. We launched this to educate our team about the negative impact fast fashion has on our environment and to take on more responsibility around this issue ♻
